For 30 years George Bunce supplied American sourced vehicles for funeral directors in NZ, but changes in the types of vehicles available in the US meant that specialised coach built vehicles were becoming the only option.

In traditional Kiwi fashion George figured that if it needed to be specially built we could do it just as well in NZ.

The team at Bunce Motor Company has for many years designed and produced right hand drive conversions for Chevrolets then their attention turned to the hearse and they sought the opinions of many local funeral directors to establish their brief.

The result is a very elegant cohesive design with the following features:
